The interest and influence of Irving National Bank of New York is deduced from the fact of having being editor of what were called Pamphlets, which regularly addressed different economic and commercial matters. For its part, Trading with Latin America highlighted the importance that the US gave to the subcontinent, especially countries like Argentina, Mexico and Brazil. The success of the first edition of 1917 justified this second edition of 1919, with some changes both inside and on the cover. In these years the bank had its headquarters in the Woolworth Building, at that time the tallest skyscraper in the world, a project by architect Cass Gilbert (1859-1934).
